I am a 20 y/o Debian Developer. My work in Debian includes: packaging (maintenance of hundred of packages), FTP trainee, mailing list moderator, Debian LTS and other security stuff, GSoC 2019 and 2020 student, organizing MiniDebConfs across India, Content & Bursary team for DebConfs, and mentoring people in Outreachy or otherwise to help them get on board with the Debian project.
Apart from that, I help patch bugs in other open-source projects in my free time :)
Accepted Talks:
Ruby Team BoF
Like previous years, the Debian Ruby team would gather together to discuss the work they’ve done so far and the work that needs to be done for Ruby 3.0.
Besides that, this meeting will be used to discuss other activities that are going within the team, like new workflows, what’s working and what’s not, etcetera.
And lastly, we’d decide the logistics of the next possible sprints :)
Debian LTS BoF
On July 18th Stretch LTS starts, offering two more years of security support to the Debian Stretch release. Stretch LTS will be the fourth iteration of LTS, following Squeeze LTS which started in 2014, Wheezy LTS in 2016, and Jessie LTS in 2018.
The LTS team would like to gather together to discuss the work they’ve done so far and the work that needs to be done for the upcoming years, areas that could be improved upon, and potentially discussing the feedback that we’ve got from the LTS survey!
